How to add text, images, and shapes to a PDF
Open the tool in your browser tab and select the PDF you want to edit. The editor will show you the current page as a preview, along with a panel for choosing what to add: text, an image, a rectangle, an ellipse, a line, or a hand-drawn mark.
For each item, set its size and colour in the fields provided. Then simply click on the page where you want the item to appear. Every click places one item at that point in the size and colour you have already chosen. You can keep adding items this way, and each new item appears on the preview immediately.
Items are not dragged into position or resized after placement. To adjust a placement, you need to remove the item from the list underneath the preview and add it again with the correct settings.

What happens to your PDF inside the browser
The entire process is handled by PDF code that runs inside your browser tab. Your file is never uploaded to a server, so nothing is stored remotely. This also means that closing the tab discards your working copy – save the edited result before you close if you need to keep it.
Because everything happens locally, processing time depends on your device's speed and the size of your PDF. The tool checks the file size and page count (up to 50 MB and 500 pages) before starting, so it won't try to process something it can't handle.

Limits and restrictions you should know
There are practical limits to keep the editor reliable. A document can contain at most 500 elements on a page. A text element is limited to 2000 characters, and its font size can be set between 4 and 200 points. These limits are enforced as errors when you try to add an item that exceeds them.
Certain actions are not supported. For example, the drawn mark is not a freehand tool that follows your mouse; it places a fixed small stroke at the point you click. You cannot nudge or resize an item after it has been placed. To reposition, remove the item from the list and click again with the new settings.
The tool has no settings to change – there are no options for compression, resolution, or output quality. It simply adds the elements you specify to the page and produces the edited PDF.

When the result doesn't look right
If an item is in the wrong place, select it in the list underneath the preview and remove it. Then adjust the size or colour fields and click the page again to place a corrected version. Because you can see every change reflected in the preview, you can check the page before you finalize the PDF.
If you need to make a change that the editor doesn't allow – like resizing an image after placement or moving a text box – you'll have to remove the item and re-add it with the desired settings. Alternatively, you may need to use a more full-featured editor for tasks beyond annotations.

Keeping your file secure and private
Since your PDF is never uploaded, the tool cannot store or access your file. This makes it a safe choice for documents that contain personal or confidential information. Just remember to download the edited version before closing the tab, because the working copy exists only in your browser's memory.

Common questions
Will my PDF lose quality when I add text or images?
No. The editor works directly with the PDF's existing content and just places new elements on top. Graphics and text that were already in the file remain unchanged. The output is a new PDF, typically the same quality as the original.
What file types can I edit?
Only PDF. One file at a time, and it must be under 50 MB and have up to 500 pages. If your original is in another format like Word or JPG, convert it to PDF first and then edit here.
Why can't I drag items after placing them?
This tool is designed for simple annotation – you click to place each item. There is no drag-and-drop for repositioning. To fix a misplaced item, remove it from the list and click again on the correct spot.
How do I change the size or color of a text I already added?
You cannot edit existing items. Remove the text from the list underneath the preview, set a new font size and colour in the fields, then click on the page again to place the text anew.
Can I draw freehand on the PDF?
There is a 'drawn mark' option, but it places a fixed small stroke, not a freehand line that follows your cursor. For actual freehand drawing, you would need a different PDF editor.
Is my file uploaded or stored anywhere?
