03 / HOW TO DELETE PAGE
How to delete pages from a PDF
Select the PDF file you want to edit. The tool checks the file right in your browser – it must be a PDF up to 50 MB and 500 pages.
Type the pages you want to remove in the single text box. You can list individual pages (for example: 2, 5) or a range (3-7), or combine them like 1, 3-5.
After you run the tool, you get the same PDF with the selected pages gone and the rest untouched.
There are no settings to adjust – just the page input. Everything happens in your browser tab; nothing is sent to a server.
04 / WHAT THE TOOL DOES
What the tool does inside your browser
All PDF processing is done by code running locally in your browser tab. That means your file never leaves your device.
Because there is no upload, nothing is stored on any server. The working copy exists only in your browser tab; closing the tab discards it.
This also means the tool works without your document passing through an external server, which keeps the content private.
05 / RULES THE TOOL ENF
Rules the tool enforces
The page input must follow the pattern: individual pages separated by commas, or ranges with a dash, like 1,3-5. Spaces are not required but can be used.
You cannot list the same page twice – the tool will refuse to run if you do.
You cannot delete every page in the document. The tool refuses this action.
If the file is larger than 50 MB or has more than 500 pages, the tool will not proceed – it checks these limits in your browser before any processing.
06 / WHAT IT CANNOT DO
What it cannot do
This tool only removes whole pages. It cannot cut out a portion of a page or rotate pages.
It handles one PDF at a time. There is no batch processing here.
It does not show a progress percentage – the tool simply runs and gives you the result.
If you get an error about duplicate pages, all pages, or file size, fix the input or choose a smaller file and try again.
07 / IF THE RESULT IS N
If the result is not what you expected
If a page you wanted to keep is missing, check the page numbers you entered. Remember that the pages you type are removed, not kept.
If you get an error message that the same page is listed twice, review your input – for example '1,1' or a range that overlaps (3-5,4) will be refused.
If the file did not process, verify that it is a PDF and that it meets the size and page limits.
FAQ
Common questions
Will the quality of my PDF be reduced?
No. The tool only removes pages. The remaining pages are copied as-is, so the quality stays exactly the same.
Can I delete pages from a password-protected PDF?
No. Only unlocked PDFs can be processed. The tool cannot handle encrypted files.
Why does the tool say my file is too large?
Each file must be up to 50 MB and 500 pages. If your PDF exceeds either limit, the tool will not run. You can try compressing the PDF first.
Can I delete a range of pages?
Yes. Type a range like 3-7 to remove pages 3 through 7. You can also mix ranges and single pages, for example 1,3-5.
What does 'duplicate page' mean?
The tool does not allow the same page to be listed twice. For example, '2,2' or '3-5,4' is invalid. Remove the duplicate and try again.
Is my file uploaded to a server?
No. Everything runs inside your browser tab. Your file is never uploaded, so nothing is stored, and closing the tab discards the working copy.
Can I delete all pages in the PDF?
No. The tool refuses to delete every page. At least one page must remain in the resulting PDF.
